Hotel Route Inn Susono Inter

The location was convenient for us. The cleaning staff and the staff in the restaurant were very kind and friendly.

The staff at the reception were not friendly when we checked in. The 2nd evening we planned to eat in the hotel restaurant for the second time because we enjoyed it the first night. We waited in the small lobby waiting for it to open. After waiting for more than 30 minutes, we heard other guests say that it isn’t open. We found a sign on the door that we hadn’t noticed. It would have been nice if the staff had mentioned to us that the restaurant would not be open on the second night when we checked in. While we were waiting one of the staff was watching me. I wish she would have asked if we needed anything and then told us about the restaurant being closed. Besides that, the shower/bathroom was too narrow. It was difficult to take a shower and there wasn’t a bar to grip when you get in and out of the tub even though it was quite high. I felt afraid of falling with nothing to hold onto.

The hotel is fine. I had issues in the booking process through the system. Also I understood I ordered a double room but finally it was a single room...

Breakfast selection was good and they managed to add variety by taking items out and adding others on each day.

Room service would have been nice, but we could have chosen another hotel if that had been truly important to us. The addition of a shuttle bus or van from the rail station (pre-booked if necessary) would have made a big difference to our stay. Arriving at the station at midnight due to cancelled train service in pouring rain, we had no choice but to walk with a 3 yo infant.

The hotel location was easy to find and there were gas station and restaurant nearby. They also have onsen and breakfast was good with Mount Fuji view.

The restaurant inside the hotel closes early and the hotel was quite old style. The public bath was really smaller than expected.

Breakfast is ok. Location is not very convenient.

It was close to the convenience store. The bed was firm but comfortable. The staff tried to help us - we wanted to go on a day tour to Mt Fuji but they dont have any tours and dont know of any. Breakfast was a good range of food and was very nice

No-one could recommend for us to do anything - it felt like we were in the middle of no where

Breakfast was pretty decent though it's not a large spread. Hotel is located at about 5 minutes' drive away from the train station which is a plus point. Onsen was something which made us so calmed though it's unnatural & a common facility for guests. Restaurant gives you a magnificent breathtaking view of Mt Fuji.

The room given to us wasn't the great one as we have no view of Mt Fuji as we travelled from thousands of miles to get a room to have spectacular view of Mt Fuji. I believe property badly needs an overhaul refurbishment.

We travel with kids (2 and 3 years old) and were informed that we had to book rooms with 1 adult and 1 children in each room. However we saw on 2 occasions Japanese family of 3 and another family of 4 with children above 3 years old staying in 1 room. This puzzled us much.

The only positive i can take from the area is the outside view of Mt. Fuji. There was literally nothing the family liked about this place. The rooms smelled of rotten stale air, they were unvacuumed, the hallways smell of smoke on every level, and they have minimal amenities.

There was nothing I liked about this place. In fact me and the family decided to cut our vacay short and drive home not utilizing the extra night we payed for.

the location is fairly good, where you can see the mount fuji from the window.
